Montpelier Pump Track
This spring MAMBA received approval from the Montpelier Parks Commission to build a pump across from the Cummings Street Apartments and near the entrance to the North Branch Trails network.
A pump track is a circuit of rollers, banked turns, and features designed to be ridden by riders “pumping” — generating momentum by up and down body movements, instead of pedaling or pushing.
Pump tracks are great for skills development. The repetitive practice of going round and round, getting faster and more capable, builds confidence on the bike. Pump tracks are a fun and creative way to get kids outside and exercising.
MAMBA is again working with Sinuosity Flowing Trails to design and build the pump track. Work begins in June. Help MAMBA build this incredible resource with a donation today, in any amount.
Starting June 18th, every dollar donated to this project will be matched 100% by Onion River Outdoors!
