Give yourself a hand, Montpelier area riders! π
Scouts out this morning reports NO frozen tire tracks (from slush riding) in North Branch Park and general conditions are pretty darned good! Studded tires will be your best friend, especially on frozen seeps on Sapsucker and some other low snow spots, but traction and climbing should improve with more fat tire traffic (3.8β and greater only, please). Crust over corn is the current trail surface, but itβs not very deep and quite fun with a bit of concentration and caution.
Thank you, riders, and enjoy!
